Making the Move explores the notion of expectation versus reality presenting a snapshot look at teenage angst and the intoxicating mix of terror, excitement and arousal that comes with going in for that first kiss... Altshuler's witty writing [is] lively...that is refreshingly natural from a quartet who presents genuine characters you can't help but like...the whole effect has that magic of finding a little gem off the mainstream that feels like the Fringe at its truest-Fresh and experimental...

Lovably awkward main characters...[Altshuler] crams an impressive amount of character depth into Making the Move's brief, 20 minute slot, making it bit more weighty than the throwaway comedy sketch it could easily have become...this adorable little show is decidedly nice...It aims for amiability and hits that mark... Stan's hilarious lines prove Altshuler to be a promising writer.

Making the Move is the shortest play in the 2014 Fringe...Its author, Noah Altshuler being only 17 and still at school, it is also this year's youngest playwright...A snapshot into the teenage angst around a first kiss...the pace is fast and the humor is laugh out loud.

The play is an interesting and surprisingly amusing snapshot into the teenage psyche...quirky fringe comedy, presented in a fun and energetic way...

...Simple but clever...like a snapshot into a teenage mind, but with some funny one liners and some good acting.

I loved this new comedy. When I heard it was only 20 minutes long I thought it would not have any real characters or depth, and be more of a sketch. Not true. Fantastic set-up and fun conclusion.

...Not as lame as it sounds -- it is actually really funny and clever. The final scene got a big "ah" and some woops from the audience, so clearly they enjoyed it! The writer has created the play from his own experience and I was surprised to discover that he is only 17! Clearly he will go far if this is his first attempt and it is impressive he has managed to bring this play to the Fringe.

The set-up, while hardly original, somehow seemed like a completely fresh take. I was totally captivated from start to finish.

Making the Move takes you back to teenage angst. Brilliantly uncomfortable.
